You will receive at least 10 digital images that I select from your session, fully edited, in a CD from each session. You will also receive a "release form." The images are then yours to do whatever please with them. (birth announcements, party invitations, ect.)

Please contact me for event and wedding photography prices.

How long does a session last?
Please plan for 1-2 hours for your portrait session. Newborn sessions can last up to 4 hours.

Can I scan the pictures print proofs from the computer after I order them?
No. Scanning or printing images from your session are a violation of federal copyright law (even after you have purchased them).

Can I post images from my session on facebook?
Of course you can! If you bought the Full CD from your session the images are yours and you can do whatever you would like with them. If you did not purchase the CD I will provide low resolution images of my choice with my watermark on them for you.

When is the best time for my maternity pictures?
I prefer to provide maternity sessions after the 35th week of pregnancy but this is a personal choice as to how and when you feel comfortable.

I am about to have a baby. When is the best time to schedule a newborn session?
To ensure you get your choice of dates, please contact me in your last trimester, to schedule your newborn session. The best time frame to capture the "newness" of your baby is within the first 10 days.

Do you offer Gift Certificates?
Yes!

What to wear....

Choosing what clothes to wear for your portrait session can be frustrating. I have put together some tips below to help you out.

In general it is best to keep things simple but whatever you choose, be true to your own style. I want your portraits to reflect who you really are. Wearing high heels if you’re a cowboy boots kind of person will make you feel uncomfortable and that will reflect in your portraits.

For a classic, timeless look, jeans, plain tees and simple dresses are good choices. Solid colors in subtle tones work well for this style.
For a hip, trendy look choose brighter, bolder colors. Patterns can be fun but often distract from the subject being photographed. I strongly suggest avoiding busy patterns, cartoon characters and logos.

I suggest keeping any white you are wearing to a minimum as it reflects light strongly and can leave you looking washed out.

While wearing the latest trend can be fun, keep in mind that it can also date your portraits very easily. This is not necessarily a bad think, just something to keep in mind.

Accessories can be fun additions to your session. Hats, belts, sunglasses, shades, etc are all great.

Bare feet are fun! If you are wearing shoes, make sure they are in good condition and not dirty or scuffed.

Choosing outfits for a family session can require more planning. Everyone does not have to be dressed identically or even need to wear the same color. Choose colors that compliment each other. Keeping within the same ‘family’ of colors will help you. An example of a color family is pastels, bright, cool or warm colors.
